Richard Rhodes

Richard is founder and director of Fire in the Mountains Ministry.  Fire in the Mountains travels as a team of Spirit filled lay people to see Gods people saved, healed, delivered, and set free in the name of Jesus Christ.  The ministry is based in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina but now travels the nation.

Richards passion is to see people empowered to do the work Jesus said we will do.  Richard is a Certified Lay Speaker of 17 years and he trains Lay Speakers, he is also a member of the United Methodist Evangelists Association. “I have been in ministry with and without the baptism of the Spirit…believe you me.. it’s the anointing that makes the difference.”

During the week Richard manages WHKP Radio Station in Hendersonville North Carolina…where he has been employed for 31 years.  Richards day to day activities have him out of the office and out into the mission field. “Market place ministry is where is it at today…kinda like Jesus did it…going to them.. not expecting them to come to you.”
